No - Miracast is different. With Mirrorlink, you can control your phone by touching on Car's head unit screen. Miracast just mirror, you can't do anything else.

Just use cast screen.... Swipe down twice from the top or once using 2 fingers, hit cast screen and when that opens, you should see your WiFi TV there. Click on it and you should then get some kind of accept message on your TV screen. Allow it and that's it. Your phone will mirror onto the TV. That's what I did with her Samsung.

This has killed me opinion of this device. I went to use my phone with app connect in my car, assuming it had mirrorlink, and didn't.

If I had known when I bought it, that it didnt have dlna/mirrorlink capability as a native program, I wouldve kept my z10 and waited or bought a galaxy. This coupled with no QI charging is a huge missing chunk of what current phones can do (Canada Priv's didnt get wireless charging)

It's baffling that a current android device in this price bracket wouldn't have it. Pretty miffed about it.
