I had issues with stock messenger, tried Yaata, was OK, but then moved to Textra and think I'll stay there as it works great

Tried Messenger again. Still stutters on send. And slow to open. Yaata still better.

I prefer hangouts as a sms client as it supports send via the enter key.

Yeah the speed seems the same as yaata , although I do send messages through hub and not app itself!

I agree. Makes hub worthwhile now. I left Textra back to Messenger yesterday but now only use hub for texting, works great like on BB10

Why is it so good? How is it different in the hub? I have yet to notice. I don't use the separate messaging app. If I send I text I always go through the hub, then create a text. I've done the update today but yet to notice anything

I've had issues with Messenger failing with MMS messages, so went to Textra. I might try switching back to Messenger for this update, but if it fails to send/receive a pic again, I doubt I'll give it another try.

Yaata has worked properly like this forever.

But this is massive improvement in Messenger, to be honest. Still stutters upon send for me though.
