Has anyone seen some measurement figures like the size and weight? Would be nice to know in comparison to other devices. If a thread like this already exist, please close it down.

The only measurement we have right now is the screen is 5.4" curved.

From what I can tell from my rough photoshopping and measurements, since we already have the screen size confirmed, is that the PRIV itself should be physically sized similarly to Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is 5.65 x 3.03 inches. One of the recent hands on reviewers said that the Priv is just slightly longer than the Z30 which is 5.53 x 2.83.

Scaled comparisons done by myself, dc2000, and abass indicate that the Prvi is about 5.7 x 2.9 x 0.4 inches, about the same width and slightly longer than the Z30.

The funny thing is that by now, the physical dimensions can't change, since release is imminent. Providing the physical dimensions wouldn't be 'priv'ileged info.

The long slide of the screen measures 4.7" and the short side of the screen is 2.65". Add the bezels and there you go. (I don't have Photoshop on my phone but I can get an exact calculation later, or someone else can using those values).

I've done essentially the same thing using the screen ratio (2560/1440) and a screen diagonal length of 5.4 inches, which agrees with the dimensions given above: about 5.7 x 2.9 x 0.4 inches.

I've revised the 150 to 145 mm (about 5.7 instead of 6.0 inches).
Edited (now about 7.0 open instead of 7.3)

As I can see from you guys calculations, we are talking about a device that is a little bit bigger than other BlackBerry devices, but also have a bigger screen and that's OK. The thickness seems do be around 2 minute more than my Sony Experia Z5. Thanks guys!

fair enough. id recommend throwing it in photoshop and do a ratio crop and I managed to get 150, but.. doesn't matter because we'll know in about 2 weeks from now.

I think we've reached the limits of error with the images and information available, so yes, maybe a little more than two weeks and we should know for sure.

There's already a place holder for the YouTube video. Hopefully Bla1ze's hands on isn't far behind.

Anyone have the PP video they did so I can see how in depth it is? My classic seems to hang badly once it hits 30%... barely usable. Absolutely annoying.... I get double typing, browser crashes, over all slowness occurs, and has been for a few months now... (if anyone knows why this occurs please let me know, ive tried googling it....)

Pre-release or final version of the Priv? Do we get to see the actual Android Hub in action?
