    That's standard on all android devices - it has nothing to do with if the OEM actually updates the phone.

    If I remember rightly, Chen said they were working on getting Marshmallow ready at some point - might've been during Re/code. The question really is how long it'll take them, quick patches are important for the security-conscious image they're pushing.
