I don't think there is much to test/approve. It's more likely cramming bloatware in.

Verizon protects the network by making sure there are outdated security patched phone OSs running on the network. Why waste time and data on new OSs with proper security patching. Oh and on a phone noted for its security.

That's a positive right there. There is some attention to detail from Verizon. Give them a break. Pretty sure they are testing marshmallow to make sure there aren't any bugs . Have to give credit to Verizon.

Early buyers of the Verizon Z10 don't believe that.

I guess I was one of the few who didn't have any problems with the early Verizon Z10s. Still have it. Still working.

If you notice in the article someone is saying to not go with this VZW scam, that users can just delete the bloatware.
Here is my question, downloading an app or updates for that app goes against your data count, isn't that illegal to force an app and its data usage onto your customers, aren't you kind of forcing a burden onto their account with out their permission/consent? Don't know but sounds illegal to me!

Wow. Thanks for posting the article. I bet Verizon isn't the only one considering it.

We have gone from phones being a status symbol, to a handy device, to a necessity, to a freaking spy, and now to an advertising feeding tube to your brain. What's next. WHAT'S NEXT?!

The issue wasn't hardware, it was the 10.0.9 OS it came with, caused daily reboots.

Yes I know. I read all about them. Never happened to me. But that's old news and I don't have any issues with my Priv either. Other than that no Verizon update thing. Back to the current discussion. About which we are all disgusted.

Touche. Nice. Probably so. And it will be illegal to root and turn off location history.
