I just picked up a Priv today and I thought it would be on Android 6.0 by now. Rogers says no not yet. Is that correct.?

It is not. It is most definitely available. Check for updates in the "about phone" section in the settings.

Since you just got it, I recommend you get the autoloader from BlackBerry via the sticky and load the latest OS on it first before setting it up.

I checked the updates section and it says phone is up to date but it's 5.1.1. The Rogers technical support rep said even her priv was still on 5.1.1. Asked her to check the system to see and she says it's supposed to be at 5.1.1. I'll give another call tomorrow I guess. Thanks for the replies.

I have priv with Rogers. Got it 2 months ago. Running MM.

Same here as posted above and yes I bought it from Rogers. (Online-myrogers hardware upgrade).

I heard that Rogers pulled the MM update a while back for some reason. Luckily I updated mine before they pulled it. Best to go with an autoloader.

No. The "beta" program now is more like early access, or release preview in Microsoft terms. Essentially you sign up for priority updates in exchange for device usage data and bug reports.

I am pretty sure that when I looked before buying mine it showed Marshmallow as the latest OS instead of Lollipop........

I bought mine unlocked from Amazon and it also showed Lollipop. These phones were probably boxed before MM was available for Priv.

Best advice I got was to be patient. It's been a few months you'd figured the update would be there for all phones right out the box but apparently they're still pushing it in batches
