Have you ever thought of changing telco? Maybe Celcom First Basic package perhaps. You can just MNP and retain the phone number
Maybe not because right now Im using the unpublished digi postpaid plan (RM34 for 3GB data). And maybe will consider buy the priv outright to retain my plan

I have you in my BBM hehe.. I'm really contemplating about getting the SE though...first and most important, the warranty. Having read all posts about the issues about the passport, such as the known screen lift (although random), then trackpad not registering, freezes and boots has been keeping me on the fence. Software wise, i wouldn't really worry. Hardware wise, yes.. But the design, man..lures me in!!

Contacted Brightstar, no replies..asked few couple of people around, they said it won't be coming in to Malaysia, due to the currency drop..so dissapointed! But it's weird as SE has already gotten the approval from SIRIM...why is it taking so long..

Anyway, where will you source SE from? and how much would it cost?

As for the priv, I'll wait for an indepth review about it first..but, android is not my cup of tea..but i shall consider it though..

Sorry for intruding as there isn't a Singapore thread, and I don't think it's that popular in Singapore.

But I've asked my Telco and I THINK they seem to have intentions of bringing it in.

All I want now is a demo unit in the retail stores to play with it.

Hey man thanks for the offer, really appreciate it.
But I'd like to actually do a hands on a demo unit before deciding I should break the bank, so I'll be patient and wait for a demo unit in telco branches.
I wonder if it will actually be cheaper getting it from Malaysia considering the exchange rate though.

Noted, maybe I'll grab one from Msia if it's cheaper once I'm sure I want to buy this ASAP xD (Only just recontracted my plan for a god damned classic for less than 5 months and Blackberry comes out with something like this, sigh.)

    (feels like cheating.. lol)

I'm not sure about that, that's why I refrain from getting anything outside SG until it's confirmed to be working.

Well, I can always wait a few months and the price will drop, no problem for me.

Weird how this phone can be tracked to the last kilometer if you ever lose it but we can't even locate a Boeing 447 that went missing 18 months ago.

    Posted via CB10
You mean MH370 which was a 777 and not 447 and yeah they still haven't located it. The Malaysian and the Australian cooperative effort to finding it in the Indian Ocean is running flat and may never be found now. Its vanishing remains a big aviation mystery and a question mark for the Malaysian Airlines without the Black boxes
