    You should be able to create an all BLACK image in some photo or paint type editor and then load it as a wallpaper. It will expand or contract as necessary to fill the screen.

    Looking for a priv wallpaper-black.jpg

    You might have to rotate or stretch it??

    Cover your camera lens, and take a picture. It will be all black.

    May I suggest the RGB Color Wallpaper app
    That is if you want a Solid Colour in between white and black.

    Oh, it probably uses some kind of gradient shading from full black to a dark gray. I'm not really good at editing pictures like that.
