While I am a tech *****, I still spend a lot of time with a new device learning how to personalize it, shortcuts, etc.

I've noticed a few things with the Priv -- first, is there anyway to get the time (digital, not the actual clock) on your desktop/home page?

Second, I've noticed you don't have as much control over personalizing "profiles" and ringtones, notifications, etc. -- at least not like I did on my Bold 9930. I had a vibrate only profile, which I used during meetings -- a short burst/vibrations for text messages, long vibrations for emails, medium ones for phone calls, etc. Then I had a profile where only the phone would ring, and so on.

You can't seem to do this, or at least have as much "control" with the Priv -- am I right?

Lastly, are any of you using a screen protector -- one that is not an adhesive base? Something that slips on/over or something like that? I have had zero luck with the adhesive types.

    Thanks.

I use the Sound Profile app for profiles and schedules.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...?id=Orion.Soft

As for the clock, there should be a digital clock widget.

Awkward screenshot to get both in the picture:

Thanks for this. I was wondering about this kind of app myself.

As a matter of fact, you can place that same Digital Clock widget on each of your home pages.

If you're interested in personalising your widgets more, I thoroughly recommend Zooper Widgets. You can build your own from the ground up.

I want a Digital Clock with Seconds and can't find any that work for the Priv.

Are you that old that you have to make every second count?

Oh, can you recommend a clock with nano-seconds displaying?

I could, but I don't have that much time.

I love the binary clock I have on my PlayBook. Everyone that sees it is entrigued by it. It's even more amusing watching them try to read it.

If you tap your user icon you can make custom profiles but it's from scratch.
