    No, I forget what it's called but it's the new incarnation of BlackBerry Guardian. Saw a mention of something like that in the preliminary features sheet of a Rogers internal communication about the Venice.

    I just got off the phone with Legere. He said he's getting them in white, black and a carrier-exclusive magenta colour(which sounds neat).

    I gave t-mo a call today and spoke with a tech rep and the news he gave me was promising and disheartening all at the same time.
    First he said that someone is definitely testing the device and should be coming to t-mo but couldn't find info as to a release date. Asked if I could hold to get some information...sure I can!

    I was put on a brief hold and then came back and told me 1. Officially the device doesn't exist and had no idea what i was talking about. 2. Unofficially they are testing the device but if they don't like the way it works with their systems, towers, apps, etc they may not even release the device.

    Basically his supervisor told him to shut all talks about it down. So t-mo more than likely will be getting the device we just have no idea when because BB is mum about all things Venice.

    *shrugs* but take a look at previous tmo launches... mid month is usually when most devices launch, so mid november as evan stated launch is confirmed for november, FCC filings could happen next month. it's not like those take months/years, they're pretty quick for the most part.
