My BlackBerry Launcher often crashes and isn't responding.
Can I uninstall/reinsall? Not sure what it does and if I would lose anything if I uninstalled it but it seem important lol

Hello Try this..
Clear cache, and reset device right after. (Just a regular power down reset) see if this helps!
Good luck
I cleared cache and data.. Whoops on the data as it cleared my entire phone of apps lol. But hey, I finally got my little Google thing back at the top!! lol
You didn't have to clear data for the google search bar. It's just a widget that you can drag back on the screen.
I had been asking how to get it back (google at the top) and no one seem to know.
Yes, I will put most apps back. What a pain lol
(You can only put back on app at a time)
Open your App tray. Go to widgets, find the google one. Drag it to the screen. See below.
Wow..I wish I could have found that out when I lost it the last year. I had asked but no one knew. lol
I have it now. Thanks!
PS.. You posted a pic. It won't let me do that on the forum app. It says.. Please check your networks and try again. What do I check?
Not too sure on the forum app. I use the full CB app. Maybe something in the settings or maybe someone who uses the forum app can help.
Kind of off topic but I recently switched to Microsoft's launcher. It's really smooth.
Do keyboard shortcuts work? If not, that would be a no go for me. The shortcuts add so much efficiency and speed in my opinion. Cleaner home screens as well.
Nope. Better off just sticking with BlackBerry launcher.
You can pin your most used apps into a two level dock. It's really clean too. Then again I've never really used the keyboard shortcuts so it might be slower. Attachment 432006
Agreed. Switched from BlackBerry launcher to Microsoft a few months ago. Noticeably less lag, better performance. Worth a try.
