Does the export file on Password keeper on Z30 import straight to the Priv?

Try using the Content Transfer app for contacts if they're saved on your sim card. Or you might have to transfer via Bluetooth, which is what I had to do because none of contacts are saved on sim.

And yes, Password Keeper export onZ30 will import fine in your PRIV.

Use the content transfer app for both.

I used the transfer app through use of an SD card to transfer everything over. I went from z30 to priv and there isn't too much that I miss. The fm radio is one of those things though...

I used content transfer for my apps, data, etc. and created a file for my Password Keeper and uploaded it to my PRIV. Worked great.

I went from the SE PP to the Priv about 3 weeks ago and love it. Give it time to adjust to the OS and all the apps for everything.

Its a great phone and get a TG screen protector talking from experience mate.

The question is? Holden or Ford?

You will love the Priv. Setting up my wife's Priv right now. She let me figure Mine out for a week before she had to have one.

Blackberry content transfer app works great.

Password Keeper - export on your Z30 and import on Priv. I used NFC and was done in seconds.

There are many ways to transfer contacts. You can use Bluetooth, NFC, Dropbox, Gmail, WiFi Direct, Content Transfer, etc.

Congrats on your upgrade. I also have a Z30 and a bunch of other BlackBerry 10 devices, and now 2 Priv devices. I hope you enjoy Priv as much as I do!

Content transfer app works for most things, but I used it in conjunction with below.

I used sms backup on my z30 from BlackBerry World to transfer all my text messages and it worked great, takes some time to sync on the priv. You'll need to download the sms transfer app from play store on your priv.

All my contacts were synced via Google contacts.

No issues with BlackBerry password keeper.

Only problem I had was whatsapp, from my research there is no way of transferring messages.

I did all this with my so card, no computer required.

Although I did all that, I went back to my z30 after using the priv for a day. I enjoy bb10 too much to convert yet until BlackBerry does a better job on Android.

My Z30 is happy BLENDing with my desktop computer. In fact, I have not moved BBM tasks to the Priv so that even BBM still works in Blend. I would seriously miss Blend.

But I also doubt BB will invest the resources in moving it to the Priv (if it is even possible in Android) if their Android offering(s) don't bring in more users.

That is definitely something I miss with android. I have heard there is an app with the same type of functionality on android, but I haven't tried it yet. But it's hard to imagine anything better than the simplicity and power of blend
