Comparing my Priv to my Q10, Z10 and Passport, I find the notification volume lower especially compared to the Passport.

    Does anyone share this view?

I find it louder and less tinny than my other Android phones but not quite as loud as my Passports.

For the most part, not as loud as previous BB devices, though there are couple that are loud enough.
And the vibrator is a joke.

My volume is almost always set to 90% but seriously, the vibration is crap.

I haven't had my sound on for notifications for close to 10 years. Worked for a wireless company 10 years ago and everyone having their phones on their hips made it so vibration setting was company policy.

I now work outside B2B sales, same policy applies albeit not everyone follows. Can't be in a client's office with my phone going off in the middle of an appointment. I've heard my PRIV's notification volume just a handful of times and it does seem more quiet than other phones.

I have a hearing loss but my Priv notification volume is plenty loud enough.

I keep mine on hip all the time, if driving, I don't feel it over half the time, and some industrial settings I can't feel it. Only thing saves me is bluetooth telling me through ear-piece who is calling.
I'm using Canis Major for ringtone, it's pretty loud, but most of them are not.

Are you guys kidding with these answers? My Verizon Priv's notifications are so loud, I often wish the lowest setting was quieter. The times when I have accidentally set it at full volume, when I get a message or a phone call I nearly wet myself when it goes off! Maybe it's the tones I've selected...

I guess it's that, or Blackberry's stellar QC on the Priv is exhibiting in different ways..

I'm using the concise sms notification because it's simple, clean and not irritating!

It's not very loud. The original BBM notification isn't too bad.

The email sounds are quite low too like arise.

Phone call notification is the loudest.

    Thanks for the input!
