Please please please cough up some information on the virtual keyboard. I know there is a little info out there but not sure how much of it is of a launch day build. Is it like BlackBerry OS 10 swipe keyboard???

Well I am back reading this thread again, 10 minutes after I posted here. I have to stop.... need help.

Yes I am sad about what the writing on the wall says about BB10, especially if it had taken off and BB had the resources to pump into it to take it to the next level.

But access to all the apps in the Play Store running natively, android 5.0 is a long shot better than 4.x when I last tried android, almost stock, beautiful hardware, etc.

I have not been this excited for a BB launch since the Crackberry Kevin was still working for a living, posting rumours about the 'Javelin (8900)', which of the 6 BB's I have owned is my tied for my favourite with the Z30. Only other phone I have been this amped for was the iPhone 4.
I will be putting my mitts on a Priv on Wednesday this week.

    Nana nana boo boo.

    Sorry had to do it.

If I'm allowed to document the experience I will.

Please try hub and give us a feedback. For most of us, this is the single most important feature we need on this device!!

While you are at it, please see if OS is 'buttery smooth', has Lithuanian language support, what are Battery back up stats, and runs Hypervisior. Rest is just icing on cake.

Just watch the Carphone ad/commercial for the Priv and there you have your answer.
They never show word prediction and Swipe back on the VKB, so it would be nice if the OP trys it out.

Hm, that would be weird if word prediction isn't an option with the vkb, since bb's own official ad/commercial does show word prediction with the pkb.

I'm worried that it will stay like on the PKB With only 3 word options at the top instead of directly on the VKB like Z10 and Z30.

Can you use a full vkb on a Passport at all? If so, I'd go with that, likely the same thing. If not, then I would suspect that the PRIV vkb should work like the Z10/Z30/Leap vkb as there would be no reason to modify it otherwise (since they're not simply porting over BB10 but rather specific apps/features).

I'd love to know if Peek into the hub exists from an app. If not, how quickly can you access the hub when you're in an app.
