I am going to take my device in for a warranty exchange tomorrow, but wanted to see if there was a fix for this issue before I did.

After my device has been on for a while the top left corner of my screen does not respond to touch. Right where you click to get to your different accounts in the hub or see different folders in the Gmail app.

It isn't a hardware issue because when I rotate the screen that same spot does not work. A restart fixes the issue...sometimes I need to once a day, sometimes more so I'm sure there is some fix. I've asked a couple people and haven't found anyone else having this issue, but I thought I'd check on here.

Same issue here, did you return your device and have a different outcome?

And I did not have this issue at least on mine until "AFTER" the big first update.

    Hmmm, interesting find.
I notice that the double-tap to wake does not work on the top left.

I have not noticed it go disabled after use though.

If it is software related you might have the same issue even after exchanged your Priv. Did you have this issue before or after the last Priv update?

Think I attached the screen shots correctly, top corner works when moving from outside into but not to direct touch these screen shots should show the dead area , goes away with restart but always returns. And follows on any rotation.

I've had this randomly happen since day one. A reboot fixes is for a time.

Weird. I haven't noticed this just yet, but I'll be looking out for it. It seems to be software, given it rotates with the screen, so that's actually really good news; it means Blackberry can simply push an update and squash the issue.

In my case,, after uninstalling some apps which draws their notis on screen (like facebook messenger and some apps) this similar issue is not happened so far.
I'm not sure,,, It'd better to check your running application when touch is no resoponsible on top left screen.

So far it has been too random for me, it happened once in the hub after a restart or at least that's when I noticed it. Then once while in BBM, then I think while in chrome it happened . I have been closing apps as soon as I am done using them to try to eliminate multiples apps running and possibly causing it. Too random to nail down.

I'm having this issue as well and it also seems completely random but very annoying when it happens. It also seems to resolve itself after some time when it does happen. I'm guessing it's software as some applications seem to have no issues and some have it randomly including Hub and various games. It's noticeable as this is prime real estate for menu selection areas.

I had this same issue. Turned out to be Facebook Messenger causing the problem.

Yep, definitely Facebook Messenger. It's annoying, but at least I know what it is and don't have to reboot every time to get it to work again. I just open up fb messenger, and then close it out, and it starts working.
