Interesting post from one of BlackBerry's hardcore fans. Just goes to confirm all the various issues obviously plaguing this device.

For battery life I suggest you use the forum to search issues and fixes. I had a rough first couple days and was very disappointed. After tweaking things in the OS with animations apps not needed and other settings unless I over use (stream) on my Priv it makes the 5a-9p trek I need with 20% to spare.

As for build issues I must be in the minority in that I don't have the same issues I hear people speaking of, with the back keyboard, ect.

My battery lasts forever once I switched off the unnecessary things.

What I find interesting is his comment.

"From what Ive seen, Marshmallow sits pretty comfortably on the Priv."

Same here... 4 months and even with heavy phone use, I still have 30% at 1am after a 17hr day.

I did have a build issue forcing me to take back the phone when I first got it... the space bar didn't "click".

Any issues after that I chalk up to an Android learning curve... now it's smooth sailing. love this phone!

I'm not having any battery issues. I read up on android when I got the priv and one of the things that I read was when you power it up let it sit for a minute before using it. I have experimented with that and it does make a difference. Something about android loading.

Power it up? I never turn mine off LOL

I assume you are referring to the occasional reboot. Good advice, for any OS I'd imagine... thanks!!
