Um.. have you used a Z30? It's pretty much identical size to that. And the Z30 is the perfect size. Comparing to other flagship like the Nexus 6P at 5.7" screen and OP2, the slider is _tiny_ yet still manages to pack a 5.4" screen. This is not phablet area.
I disagree. The Z10 was the perfect size. Really disappointed that we can't get an updated, one hand friendly phone. A 4.2 to 4.5 inch screen with a slide out keyboard would have me digging out my wallet as fast as I could.

Great comparison! Wished you used a ruler on the bottom. :-) Kidding aside, I'm still leaning to passport or classic for work phone. Work Horse or Hand friendly BB? Either ways, it would be great in conjunction with my new iPhone 6s.
Believe it or not the bottom is aligned, but I find some phones don't have a straight bottom(like the q10 for starters), but its as straight as I am(hahaha, lame joke).

It does look off though, and I'm guessing it's the shadows of each phone being different that's causing it. I might redo the image with my own shadows to make it look more accurate

It's actually much smaller than I expected it to be and fits great in the hand. I am not a huge fan of massive phones but it is pretty compact, surprisingly light, very well balanced and grippy.

I think a lot of people are gonna love it and I will be getting one myself when I can.

I wouldn't. BlackBerry is sort of unknown at the minute, so people wouldn't recognise the devices. A bit of a head scratcher if you will. I think people would talk about it. But IANIM. (in marketing)

A BlackBerry logo might also "contaminate" the message too soon...

I compared all official renders since Z10 (couldn't find the leap one), also did it in order from release(I think I got it right).

I'm clearly bored this Thursday evening.... lol.

PS: all phones are correctly done as I took some time to measure each one. Only one I'm not sure about is the Priv, based on the current sizes - and me comparing the button size to the passport/classic - it seems like the Priv is about 145mm tall. But this is *JUST A GUESS* lol.

145mm = 5.71"...I believe others here have estimated the PRIV is estimated to exceed 7" open...

no no no the perfect size is 10 inch! no no no maybe 2 inch!!!... is it hard to realize that there is NO "perfect size"? It's depends on the user. Users that consume a lot of media might want a bigger phone with bigger screen, more basic users that move a lot, might want something smaller and easier to pocket

M lov lov lov lov beloved flip phone but it became long in the tooth... I searched for a replacement...no dice... finally got her a droid mini 4.5" with ALL the features of the Droid BIG in a smaller package... she's happy!! Why didn't BlackBerry front a Priv . . L'il-Priv t satisfy a few dozen more customers... I considered getting her an all-touch BlackBerry to mesh with my OG Passport but didn't due to the horrible cameras while the Droid mini has 10mpx w she loves... sheesh !!

A deviation from the topic of this thread . . . I suppose that Passport is sized a little too tall in the following URL.

Man, for a few seconds there I almost soiled myself thinking that those were genuine promotions. Really nice.

I actually like the last one best, phones at ground level. Only thing I would change would be the location. It's so arty looking in that place that people might actually miss that it's an advertisement.

I'm taking the specifications and phonearena's phone comparison tool - their site is deadly accurate. So what you see is what you get... the only thing that's a variable is the Priv, obv.

Taking the screen size into consideration between the S6 EDGE+ and S6 EDGE, I've incorporated it into the Priv, and measure the phone and once again it comes in again at 9.498mm which to that I'll say it's off by lets say 0.05mm give or take so lets round that up to 9.5mm..

    Thoughts?...

Looks like the evolution on man. The Priv is half man, half errrr Android, leading to the extinction of the species.... Note, there is no picture after the Priv. The last one is an erect Priv making one last ditch effort at survival.
