I compared all official renders since Z10 (couldn't find the leap one), also did it in order from release(I think I got it right).

I'm clearly bored this Thursday evening.... lol.

PS: all phones are correctly done as I took some time to measure each one. Only one I'm not sure about is the Priv, based on the current sizes - and me comparing the button size to the passport/classic - it seems like the Priv is about 145mm tall. But this is *JUST A GUESS* lol.

Alex Bass estimated about 150 mm using the 3.5 mm connector as a reference. I got about 153 mm based on a 5.4 screen similar to the S6 and using scaled renders.

I'm now noticing differences in the more recent renders and photographs, so it's still hard to get a good estimate of the Priv's dimensions.

Surprised they haven't at least revealed the specs...... what's taking them so long?!

Nice. That one picture for me is more marketing than BB has done.
When you bored again can we get a front view?

I appreciate the kind words, I could do a front view except there really isn't a good one out of the priv... because BlackBerry likes to be slow and releasing phones. We'll have to wait another 263672 years for a front render to be released, but patience grasshopper, lol.

Agree... beats anything we've seen from BlackBerry recently.

Interesting. When you don't slide it up doesn't seem like it'll be too far off from the Z30 which is good. Probably Note 4 size.

Honestly though, 145-154mm is a good range to go off of. 9mm really isn't a lot of height. It's just more confirmation that we are in the right range. If it's 145mm then that'd be wicked. Just a tiny bit taller than the Z30. Just like the above render shows. Still insane that the thing has been shown off in public so many times and the dimensions are still unknown..

Great comparison! Wished you used a ruler on the bottom. :-) Kidding aside, I'm still leaning to passport or classic for work phone. Work Horse or Hand friendly BB? Either ways, it would be great in conjunction with my new iPhone 6s.

Um.. have you used a Z30? It's pretty much identical size to that. And the Z30 is the perfect size. Comparing to other flagship like the Nexus 6P at 5.7" screen and OP2, the slider is _tiny_ yet still manages to pack a 5.4" screen. This is not phablet area.

Man BlackBerry has the finest hardware on the market. Its sooo good yet so sad at the same time.

Priv and Passport together with some Nokia Lumias are hands down the best hardware design you can do today.

Here's the thing, I mentioned phablets because this is where devices are headed as they continue to increase in size... The Priv (while appearing wider than the Z30 yet almost as tall with keyboard retracted) may not be the standard definition of Phablet, but from my POV as a PKB lover I try to envision myself using this device which would literally be erected 80% of the time in use for ME... This adds extra length to it that makes it cumbersome and impractical.. The Classic (my chosen daily driver) I almost find too big, the Priv is just not acceptable for me... To access the device in the ways I would require those added inches decrease the phone's practicality for me... It's simply too big...
