How could this not be true? If you know first hand what is going on then you want the Priv and in the corporate environment it just makes sense.

Ill wager that there will still be people with two phones. One BB10 and one Priv at Google enterprises.

Eh? What? Am I stupid? That makes absolutely no sense to me what so ever. Why would they when they make their own phones (Nexus). It would be like Coca Cola HQ having all their vending machines have Pepsi in them and not Coke, no?

If I worked at Google I would throw the Nexus in the trash and buy a Priv.

Well, we know that some top Google executives still carry Blackberries. My guess is Google is a BYOD shop.

Seriously, are you expecting someone at Google to come here and answer that for you?

They are. I work at a Google Partners Digital Agency here in South Africa, and the employees at Google SA mostly own iPhone 6, 6Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, Sony Xperia, LG G series and a few have Nexus devices (we don't get Nexus down here, so those that have them, imported).

I have never seen them with Samsung Galaxy, even when I got to the training sessions, I'm often one of the minority with a Samsung and the only one with a Note.

    Two questions:

    1) what are you smoking?

    2) May I have some?

J/k. I like your enthusiasm though. Lol.

It would be irresponsible for managers to sacrifice security of the business esp now that android has been secured. Should it be a company perk to allow unsecured devices into the company now?

In what way has it been secured? Because it hasn't been rooted yet?

Well that's in chinese meaning magnificent, achievement, which is one of the biggest player in communication technologies, same with samsung in korean meaning 3 stars, kawasaki in japan meaning someone who ambitious and kind, nexus from latin meaning linked nectere to bind, etc etc etc, all with meaning, hope and philosophy.

I don't think you understand Google or it's company culture very well at all if you think this is going to happen. That is Microsoft thinking, perhaps 5 years ago, but it's safe to say that's changed even at Microsoft today. No software company looking for progressive high end talent is going to dictate what phone it's employees can use, well, they won't if they want to retain current and recruit new talent. Google deals with the problem of security on their end, not by telling employees what phones they are allowed to use. This thinking, that corporate IT will mandate what phones are used vs. BYOD, was the start of RIM's demise.
