Looking at the spec sheet wireless charging has been removed now...I dont understand is it there or not.....

    Power Adapter
    • +5V DC / 1.3A AC power adapter, OMTP Compliant
    • QC2.0 Enabled – Compatible with QC2 Chargers

    Battery:
    • 3410 (typ) 3360 (min) mAh 4.4V 680 Wh/L integrated non-removable battery

I think the US site is still showing wireless charging, so not sure what to make of that. I think there's a thread already discussing this Issue though.

Arent those specs for the Power Adapter (Charger) ? It might be the case that the UK/US chargers have different capabilities and one supports to power wireless charging plates whilst the other does not. It has nothing to do with PRIV's wireless charging support, which it can't do.

Relax. I think I trust the FCC and the lab engineers more than the bozos at Digital River. And I highly doubt they will have two variants of STV100-1 and STV100-4. Might just also be pending some regulatory approvals outside of IC.

Now, go back to MobileSyrup and carry on arguing with that dimwit.

The charger doesn't make any difference. Whether or not the phone has wireless charging depends on if it has the proper coils, but you could use any power adapter with any compatible wireless charger.

Maybe most Canadians are allergic to stray magnetic fields emitted by Wireless Charging.

If I remember correctly wireless charging is a requirement from AT&T.

That is interesting. Why would they allow just the US and not here on home soil? Hmmm

No one has confirmed it exists at all so it might be misprint. Im not going to count on it.

hope it's just a typo... In europe we get the most expensive price on the Priv, so it would be crap to pay more, and get less features

FCC confirms it exist, the reports submitted to them had all 3 variants tested. Both Omnitech and GP540 doubting it so who knows.

I'm really confused with this too in between the official listing and the fcc result, so strange.

Considering the price tag, not having wireless charging in Europe would be ridiculous.
