    Hi everyone,
I was just wondering how the priv is doing in terms of sales. I have not heard a lot about that since the release.

I cancelled my order. I am not going to buy a phone with severely broken security. Period.

What else you can buy than? Android? BB10? Microsoft?

90% users already rejected security over fun!!

I'm sure there is more to this than that, little information provided. I would like to see the whole story before jumping to conclusions or an explanation from BlackBerry. Good luck finding a new phone. I hope they are selling well, most places I have been to have been sold out as soon as they get them.

In the end don't all phones offer up information if there is a crime or court order. Your carrier probably stores all kinds of data on you as well.

Honestly, there are vulnerabilities with all OS

Apple is, believe it or not, the leader in Mobile OS vulnerabilities...to date they have 324 reported (you can look it up on CVEDetails.com). Android has 107. Both of these numbers are this year alone.

Plus, have you vetted this? One source is not exactly concrete evidence nor does not clearly state it valid...you got this from a poster...do you know how many paranoid people are out there?

    Aw well...

As I have said a thousand time folks!! No OS is 100% secure and if you think there is one out there that is, well I have some beach front property in the Everglades I will sell you very reasonable!!! Nothing is 100% secure and life is way to short to worry about it and my answer is always the same when folks asked my about security issues when they are on the grid. I tell them to beware of what websites they go to and have strong passwords and last but not least "Welcome to the digital age my friend".

Really? BlackBerry is most secure especially when using BES 10/12. Prove a phone more secure than BB10 and Priv? Eliminate anything with finger scanner which is the biggest vulnerable part of a phone.
