$300 US unlocked. The price of high end phones are effin ridiculous; especially for something you'll want to get rid of in a year....

How much am I willing? $600.
How much do I feel it should cost? $500.

I'm at the point where I'm looking for a new phone now but want to wait for the slider, but I don't want to be a first-adopter because they usually get screwed

I'll find a way to get the price down just like with my Z10 which has apparently only cost me $220. Thanks Canadian federal policy!

I'm thinking I'll trade the Sony and my Z10 for the slider depending on specs. For me it needs to be a generation ahead of PassPort with that slick slide out keyboard.

    Z30 level or better speakers.

Must have latest in screen tech.

Love the OS as it is. I have all the apps I need really.

Price should be $599. Minus discounts. It's a BlackBerry not an iPhone.

The Z10 has cost me 696 over a two year contract, I would consider the slider at 648 on a two-year term (the same price as the Passport).

However I have concerns over its durability, the one main weakness on a phone for me is physical buttons.

If it's properly spec'd - that is, something better than my Z10 - then I'll pay no more than I paid for my Z10 - 50 bucks refurbished on a two year deal.

I got my previous Torch 9800 as a 1 cent refurbished deal. That phone lasted me 3 years.

My first BlackBerry was the Pearl 8100, and was the only BlackBerry that I paid the full contract price of over $200 for. Yes, that phone lasted me 3 and half years, but I'll never pay that amount again.

No phone, I don't care who makes it, is worth more than $300 outright. The ungodly profits that Apple makes on just the iPhone is proof of that.

Will easily be atleast 700$ unfortunately, imho.

Will have to get it on contract , will probably be around 55$ on 2 year contract here in South Africa.

If Android about $300 tops. Sorry but if they want to partner with and Android OEM and release Android, then OnePlus sets the bar on pricing in that race to the bottom. Besides the IS is free right? Many here have said that BlackBerry is more expensive than Android because no development cost so should be dirt cheap based on that ridiculous logic. If I'm going to pay $700 I'll go with a company that stands behind their products and doesn't abandon them, and that I know will be making them next year and the year after that.

I would pay $900 for it if it includes a vastly upgraded BB10 with Qt 5.5 support, lots of productivity enhancements, great call quality, and a full version of Android supporting Google Services in a hypervisor-like VM. I think the goal is to make BB10 unique in some of the ways it helps productivity; right now, it's a great OS that is still too much like it's competitors.

I would be curious at 599, they are going to have to be aggressive on their pricing if they expect folks to take a chance on the device.

    I'm guessing about 100$ Lol

Actually it will be or not but I can say that it can be nearly $890 or $790

But if it comes with android I won't pay a penny for that..

If comes with 10.3.2 I will pay absolutely $1,500
