The Samsung galaxy edge is $800+ ($899 CDN / $829 USD). On a two year contract it's almost $400 CDN. That phone comes with one curved edge.

So add two curved edges and a keyboard and its not going to get much cheaper. I guess if the phone is released by the summer or later, prices for the tech could drop - but still this is going to be one of the more expensive phones on the market.

I'm guessing a $650 price tag upon release. I'll wait until it's around $550 to buy it.

If it has real specs and when I mean real specs I don't mean specs that came out last year because we all know how that went ahem z30. AND if the keyboard is touch enabled, I'd pay easily 700$ usd for this. If it's using that old 805 801 stuff, brings it down to 600 no touch keyboard 500

Whatever you would pay, it will be at least 1100 USD when it arrives to Turkey. And if it would

After purchasing a Nexus 5 for $399 I just can't justify spending any more than that on a smartphone. My guess is that the slider will be priced similarly to that of the Passport.

I'm hoping the bb10 software will be top notch when this slider is released or no matter the price it will be overpriced.

BlackBerry needs to be very competitive right now so I'm thinking around $650.00 outright and $250.00 on contract.

I'm still a little disappointed that I spent $600.00 on the Q10 with 10.1 os...I should have waited for the Classic but oh well, with that said BlackBerry needs to bring it and amaze us like never before.

That's like a midrange price tho.. nexus 6 wasn't near that price.. people tend to forget the parts are getting more expensive as well.

I set my standard phone allowance at $250 including shipping and tax. Has served me quite well so far.

A phone like this I would put into my Note category and increase it by $100 to $350.

I don't think I'm going to pay much for another BlackBerry device, I spent 600 usd on this Q10 that developed the double typing issue and BlackBerry 's support didn't even attempt to fix the inconvenience. I won't say that I'm not totally tempted to buy the slider but I might just wait until its price goes down a bit or go down the android route while BlackBerry releases a high end touch device.
