Apparently the Priv is worth 200 less unlocked than it does to buy from Carphone Warehouse. Surely shipping doesn't cost 200?

you can get an exact quote at Purolator ? Canada's Shipping Company for Courier and Freight which is the Canada Post courier. From past experience I'd guess about 60 CDN or about 30 quid

Relax, I just checked and assumed a 6x4x2 inch package with 2 day delivery to London is 113 CDN or about 50 quid. BUT shopberry or someone may export from point of sale so no Canada tax, just your import duties SO 913CDN (our cost plus shipping = 450 GBP) plus your VAT/import duties, so you are ahead of the game

anyway if you bought it from a Canadian exporter their cost to you would be 800 CDN plus shipping of about $100, and you would likely have import duty of about 80 GBP so assuming a conversion of 2CDN = 1GBP, open a glass on Madeira in honour of Joao, and do the Maths

It's unlocked but I thought I could save myself a huge amount. It looks like it will save around 100 but we gotta wait a bit longer.

I think I will suck it up and just go through with my original order although I did promise myself with my new z10 I would stick with it and I did (for 18 months).

Than I bought the Passport outright and went completely SIMO and I was quite proud of myself because I thought at the time they Passport would last me easily two years if my z10 done 18 months and I had a good deal then.

But the promise of Android came and it's what I've kinda wanted the whole time since BB10 came out and I've been one of those people moaning about apps.

You might want to hold the thought. Unlocked direct from BB is still $949. Carrier units are all locked, need to pay $50 or under for an unlock.

Also the European model is different, the LTE bands are not the same. You might have problems with that for getting a Canadian unit.

Just make sure it runs on UK networks, since there are multiple variations to the PRIV and you carrier bands LTE bands may not be supported.

I'm probably sticking with my original order with CPW if I can have confirmation I can choose Netflix as my entertainment package. I just spoke to a sales rep who works ON BEHALF of CPW with capita and she couldn't tell me why I still haven't got a receipt but my card debited.

CPW haven't got a clue what Netflix is or more to the point the sales team in capita don't.
