    I tried going to our local service provider trying to find out how I can get my contacts, calender etc, and all other perintient info from my bb10 over to the Priv. I tether my bb10 to sync with my outlook so all my information is somewhat seemless.

    I'm guessing you skipped that process in the setup wizard? In any case, you might want to try actually just moving the stuff manually. The Content Transfer app has been known to cause issues. It's always best to start fresh and move only what you need.
