This works! You just need to be quite firm in the pressure you apply otherwise it won't fit it. After applying harder pressure, it works.

Is it normal for the priv when slid up that the screen moves slightly left and right with a little pressure with thumbs either side at the bottom??

    Anyone have same issue?

Ditto here. Moves slightly side to side at the bottom of the screen when open. Otherwise tight as a drum with no clicking issue on mine (fingers crossed).

Thanks dude. Did it to mine and has been perfect since. BlackBerry needs to tighten them up before being packaged.

I purchased my priv in November and just started having issues. Just returned it to att. I will continue to do this for the next 276 days should the issue occur again. BlackBerry wants to charge $700 for a "premium" phone, I will not settle for quick fixes.

I suggest turning off vibration, it may be the cause of it coming back.

Holy hell, this works. It was so annoying to me, ever since I took the shell case off. But kind of a subconscious type annoying. Finally thought to myself... "hmm, I wonder if anyone else has this issue, let me check CrackBerry"... and sure enough. Awesome, thanks. Typing is much less annoying now.

You could just get a RMA exchange through the warranty department since the Priv has a one year manufacturer warranty.

Looks simple, but I just kept sending my Priv's back to ATT, until I got a good solid one.

I've had 2 Privs and both had slight clicking, but in different places from each other.

As a couple others have mentioned: GET A CASE!
I now have 3 different cases and my Priv never clicks with any of them on.

I simply put tiny foam stickers in the bottom of the tracks. No more screen click. Now to find a fix for all of the creaking...
