    I got a pop up with Google icon that said I have a virus and go to Google Apps to download an app to remove it. Does this sound legit?

    Nope, this is the thing with android... you need to have this weird 9th sense to identify the trashy stuff from what really belongs to the phone, just like when you are browsing the Internet on a computer. Not funny.
