    When i press the "0" key to do Speech to Text in the Blackberry Priv, the microphone icon is dimmed and crossed off, so i am unable to do Speech to Text

    Speech to Text works fine on the Priv for BBM messages, just not for Text Messages or Email.

    I think I found the solution. Go to Settings, then Language & Input, Current Keyboards, Choose Keyboards, then turn on Google voice typing.
