I went to setting - about phone - status - sim status - my phone number "blank"

I don't know if you have one but mine sets up automatically once I pop in a SIM card that has a phone number activated on it

I don't think you can do that on any android phone, but you can do that on a BB10 phone. So, my advice is, borrow someone's BB10 phone and pop your SIM card in and you edit your phone number there before you pop it in to your PRIV.
