A lot many times, especially during work hours, my Priv starts downloading one update after another. It becomes a never-ending stream.

How can I monitor all such updates? Is there a way I can regulate them?

Go into the Play Store, then go into the settings menu. Click on Auto Update Apps. You should see a “Do not auto update apps” Select that to update apps manually.
