Hi I just bought an used Priv, the seller told me it was factory unlocked, but when I turned it on it said Tmobile. But maybe it said that because that was the last sim used, but I'm worried now. How can I know for sure it's factory unlocked or a tmobile branded one? On the back of the phone there's no logo. Please help me ASAP so I return this or keep it

    It says
    Model number: STV100-1
    Android version: 6.0.1
Android security patch level: August 5, 2016
    Build number: AAF960
    Model: RHK211LW
    PRD-60027-008
    Made in Mexico

I don't think it's TMO, for two reasons:

    1. Their 6.0.1 build is AAF153.
    2. This phone seems to be sourced from Canada. CrackBerry Canada seems to be selling one with the same PRD#: BlackBerry Priv - Unlocked (STV100-1) | BlackBerry Brand New | CrackBerry Canada

I believe Raino is correct. PRD xxxxx-008 is factory unlocked.

Does it have Tmobile Bloatware? I would think that would be a good way to see if its a carrier phone.

Could you please tell me what is that and how I can check it out?

If you go on the app drawer does it show any Tmobile specific apps?

    Go to https://swappa.com/?ref=mobilenation...UvbUpU12541434
Get your imei and type it in the search
After you have done that it will show if phone is blacklisted or activated.

How did you pulll up this information on your PRIV? Anyone? Is there some equivalent of way to use the keypad for a Key2 phone and dial *#837837# to brings up the Version information that includes the PRD for a PRIV?
