Driving today and starting gps in maps it came up about calibrating the compass..
I'd like to do it again as I'm home and calm.

Anybody know how to get the option to do that?

Open the Compass app. It'll give you the directions if it needs to. Basically, you move your phone in a figure eight motion.

Just go to play store, do a search for Compass, and download one.

When you get there, (Play Store) click on the only show at least 4 star button. That will narrow it down from 140 thousand to about 12 thousand.
Then look at the permissions requested by any app, if a compass app wants access to your contacts and microphone, keep looking.
