Has anyone find a way to do this? It's not in the regular place it should be on Android.

    Help!

I prefer to not see it..it's something that you don't need to worry about and it makes it messy up there!

It should be an option in Marshmallow.

There does not seem to be a way to remove the battery percentage from the top bar.

I agree, I dislike having the exact percentage always being displayed on the top bar. I end up glancing at it all the time and thinking about how much the battery has dropped while using my phone. I'm somewhat surprised that BlackBerry didn't include the option to turn this off since most of their other customization's can be.

I guess this can be put right up there with BlackBerry apparently thinking I need to always know, at all times, and in multiple places, who my wireless carrier is...

Action 3 launcher makes it an option. Will clear the entire top bar until you do a quick gesture to bring it down. So clean

I prefer having the percentage hidden as well. I tend to obsess over the number otherwise, which is both unnecessary and annoying.

Swipe twice from the top and press and hold the settings gear for about ten seconds, it should spin while doing that. After ten seconds, release it and you will see the notification about 'System UI'.

Then go to settings, scroll down to the new tab System UI and there you can find the option to hide the percentage.

I get an option to show the percentage embedded inside the battery icon. Can't see an option to turn it off completely.
