    Here's a thought-provoking idea-img_20151029_142016.png

Couldn't be bothered to write it out again but our personal information are on lots of vendors here. Shouldn't BlackBerry have created a system for employers and employees to both use?

I am not sure I understand the problem as I haven't heard of any of these names before (maybe they or US/canada specific).

How would a BB solution be different?

Why should BlackBerry pull a job portal system out of its ****?

Next you'll say they have to make "secure" Facebook, "secure" YouTube, and other things they have neither the resources, manpower nor competence to do.

Ever applied for a job online? Young people will be particular familiar with the process using services like taleo or indeed.com

Many companies now use taleo to source candidates including some of the biggest like merlin entertainments which run over a hundred themed attractions and vodafone is also known to use taleo.

Many smaller companies use it to. Shouldn't BlackBerry have developed a system to protect end users data as well as cooperate data?

Sure they could, but are there any indications that taleo (or any other of those platforms) have been hacked or mishandled information? Or even if one was hacked, it doesn't mean that the others have been.

My main point is not everything NOT-BB is insecure or violates privacy and BB is NOT the only company out there that works in security/privacy.

Isn't the whole point when job searching to get your information out there? Surely the less secure the job portal the better

I don't understand the ask either. Should Blackberry compete with Taleo too then. Maybe also with every Credit card company out there too and how about the credit reporting agency.

Well, in the U.S. the process is different. For one, here a CV is a laundry list of achievements used by the scientific communities. A resume to us is what a CV is to you. To add, here including a photo is a very big no-no and leaving out personally identifiable information like SS #s, DOBs, home addresses, and so on is not only proper but also the rule.
