Well I am stuck, I got a shipment today from Crackberry with a Holster and Leather case for my priv. I was happy to get them until i tried the holster. It locked the phone as it was supposed to but now I cannot access it.... I have taken it out and I cannot wake the phone no matter what... HELP... What do I Do????
Did you hold the power button to see if that does anything?
Either reboot (hold the poper button) it or try running a magnet across the screen to see if it responds.
Power button does nothing...
Throw a charger on it, maybe it died? I know it doesn't make sense but it's worth a try.
Magnet doesnt do anything either, other than adhere to the phone at certain places
Phone phoned blackberry but it says because I purchased through a carrier I have to go through them..... what the hec is Bell gonna know
tried the charger, nothing. shows the charging bar at 90%

Finally got it to reboot, after holding the button for a while and after the fourth try. Scared to put it back in the holster now.... any recommend setting or changes I can make to be sure that doesnt happen again?
nope the double tap didnt work either..
Pretty much every mobile device can be hard booted by holding the power button. It wasn't the 4th time that helped, you just didn't hold it long enough the first 3 times. This is a hardware feature. Malfunctioning software can't prevent it from happening.
Just try using the case again, and if it happens again, return the case or try the case on a Priv at a carrier to see if it happens to that phone.
What is there to be scared of? If the case wipes your phone (it won't) at least it will be now rather than months later when you are caught off guard.
