Started off loving my PRIV - then somewhere around july-ish, I lost the ability to use the voice to text function.
(the microphone doesn't show at all on the vkb - and it cannot be activated on the PKB.
In my bb keyboard settings, there is a dictation key function that is greyed out too: it says "no voice input methods enabled. check language & input settings"
In my language and input settings menu, the basic Google recognition radio is highlighted. (I have tried switching to Enhanced Google services, but that doesn't change anything).

Thoughts??? Any help is appreciated...

I don't believe so. The keyboards installed are "English (US)-BlackBerry Keyboard" under "current keyboard" and "English (US)" under BlackBerry keyboard settings.
I'm fairly certain I didn't make any changes to those around the time that I lost my ability to use voice to text...

I would suggest going to Main Settings, Apps and seeing what might be DISABLED particularly Google items. You might have accidentally stopped some needed service or app.

If you are desperate, you could try reloading the OS but then it wipes your data (there might be a work around by editing aspects of the Autoloader for the Verizon model)>

If you have Cortana installed, check to see if Hey Cortana is enabled. It is known to conflict with Googles text to speech.

I went in and turned on the "google voice typing" that still left my BlackBerry Keyboard on...and it re-activated everything...thanks!
