With lollipop I had moved all apps that allowed me to the sd card. After upgrading to MM they are still on my home screen but Greyed out and unusable. Using the cogwheel and app settings - they aren't listed.

How do I get them back to being operational? I'm not going to change the sd card to adaptable storage.

First, check their various permissions. Check in ALL apps - you can scroll right in the Apps screen. You may have to download them again but I'm not sure.

I've checked the "apps" and "app permissions". My greyed out apps aren't even listed. Then only place I find any mention is as greyed out on my home screen

I had the same issue when they rolled out the beta MM. I had to re-download all the apps I had moved to my SD card. The adaptable storage, i.e. making the SD card an additional "internal storage" is supposed to reolve that. Unfortunately, either way you will have to re-download those apps that were on the SD card.

Apps aren't allowed to run in MM off the SD card for security reasons unless its encrypted to the device and that requires use of Adoptable Storage which has some downsides.

Thanks for the clarification Ment - would have saved me a few hours of Blackberry torment! But still love the PRIV.
