One of our Privs is having the overheating/ battery drain issue. I was set to do a factory reset today, and by coincidence when I turned on the phone, I had the full screen prompt to install Marshmallow- Again! I had it installed (verified) since day one with the factory unlocked device. It is loading right now.
Anyone ever hear of this?
Could this have been the cause of the problems?
Guess we will know soon enough...

Mee too got notification for marshmallow update in my priv. 1805.3 MB.
Shopblackberry purchased. Dint update it yet since no wifi. But I too was wondering why it shows again eventhough I had already updated to it before

There are newer versions being pushed out so that could be why. Can you check what version you have before updating?

Mine too, just received a software update, 1805.3MB as well. Downloading now as i speak.

Maybe it's an early version of the upcoming MR update?

Yeah, just noticed that too, the security patch has now been changed to 1 jun 2016 and the build code is now AAF153. Anyone?

AAF153 Fixes

- Bluetooth connects with OnStar briefly but does not maintain connection
- SIM seen as new post device reboot
- Unable to find 5GHz networks
- SIM not detected msg"No SIM card" error
- Bluetooth Sharing stopped
- Phone gets very hot during Skype video chat and then disables up-link audio
- No MP3 track information passed over bluetooth
- Bluetooth sharing / connection fails repeatedly
- Bug reporter crash on preview screenshot
- Carrier name in status bar is not aligned properly (appears top aligned)
- Device extremely hot after OTA update
- Phone memory issue causing lag and overheating
-Class 0 message popup on device reboot.

Thanks everyone. I'm wondering why it's re-downloading Marshmallow rather than calling it a security patch but I'm reassured that others are seeing it. Pure speculation - perhaps it's part of their security routine to announce a patch for 7 June but then drop it seven days earlier.

My partner's phone appears totally FIXED regarding the overheating issue, and my car's bluetooth disconnect issue is now FIXED! Do we have BlackBerry to thank for pushing these fixes out? If so, this (timely updates) is a reason why we own Blackberry
