Can anyone tell me why the google voice/search on the Priv is so slow. When i tap the microphone there's a major lag to open up. Even there's a lag when "recognizing" what i said.

I have a s7 and it's blazing fast. But since day one with the Priv it's painfully slow.

I'm wondering if it's blackberry launcher or the bad specs on this phone.

Doesn't lag on mine. I actually got rid of the searchbar though and just have the google app icon on my home screen.

With the google app, you can open it and just start talking "ok google". You don't have to tap on the microphone icon. If it still lags, first I would try a restart. If that doesn't resolve it and you are in wifi, try turning wifi off and see if you have the same problem on the cellular network. If there is no lag when not in wifi, you may have an issue with your router.
