    Tap and hold it until "remove" appears at the top of the screen. Then drag it up and it's gone. If you ever want it back hold any empty part of the screen until it brings up homescreen settings and tap "widgets"

    Im learning that once I figure out little stuff like that I'm finding android to be much more customizable and in many ways better that bb10. The con is that many things the BlackBerry did with one tap take a lot of work to get set up initially (a good example is the writeup someone did here about bedside mode)

    Im learning that once I figure out little stuff like that I'm finding android to be much more customizable and in many ways better that bb10.     Yep.. I am just a novice with Android so still experimenting.. but it is not as bad as they describe it!!
