I got a blackberry priv running android 6.0.1 My phone is being drained by Google play services.
I uninstalled and updated Google play services but it's still doing the same drain.
Keep awake is at 25 minutes.
Not sure what to do. This phone cannot be rooted....

Play services is not the cause; it's an app calling Play Services APIs on a repeated (and stupidly-so) basis.

Find the offending app and remove it. This may take some effort since the power drain is being charged to Play Services and not the responsible app -- look for apps using a material amount of power with GSAM or other battery monitor app and either disable or remove them one-by-one until you find the offender.

I had this problem. Did a factory reset and it went away.

I took the setting up of my phone slowly after the reset to catch a possible battery drain culprit. Sure enough I found one: Smart Lock. I went into settings->security->smart lock and entered my password. Then closed it for fear of what it could do to my battery. But just entering the password was enough - the battery started draining at an alarming rate.

To turn it off you have to go to settings->security->trust agents.
