    For some reason when I get in my car google photos opens itself. Just started today. I did take my first pic on the priv this morning before I got in the car. Any thoughts?

    Not using android auto yet, just connecting on bluetooth.

    I'm on AAG191 factory unlocked.

    Probably just touching the app while handling it. Happens to me all the time when I set the phone down. Usually the camera opens. But it depends on which screen is there.

    Nope. I wish it were that easy. I sleep the screen and put it away. When I finish my drive and open the phone the google photos app is open. Happened on 3 drives today.

    Go into Main Settings, apps, scroll to find Google Photos and see if it is set to some kind of default.

    Tested this out today with the phone awake. Once the car head unit boots up, Google photos opens. The head unit does run android so I don't know if that would have anything to with it. So I don't know if it's the head unit accessing GP or vice versa. I checked settings in the head unit and didn't see anything I could change or how it would be accessing other than bluetooth is active.

    Android auto is available on the head unit, but I'm not currently using it. No hard connection from phone to car, only bluetooth.
