After using the Priv for a month, I realized that the Google Now Launcher is actually MORE responsive and fluid then the Blackberry's offering...anybody feels the same?

Meh....it's about the same. Only problem with Google Now launcher is that the icons are way too big

    Nova launcher is the best!

    That's what I used!
I added 7 new gestures. My fav being swipe up for hub. Makes it feel more bb10 like.

I haven't used Android since the Droid X on verizon so pardon my noobness but:

As I understand, the Priv will come stock with the BlackBerry Launcher, if I were to install, say, the Nova Launcher, will it just take the place of the BlackBerry one or will both be running but I am only using one launcher at a time?

Only using one at a time. You can switch between launchers if your in the mood in settings.

Too bad it only works from the home screen. It'd be a lot better if we could Swype up from the bezel on any screen.

You could use Edge Launcher to launch the Hub from the side bezel if that's what you want to do.

Look up all in one gestures.

If you can deal with the onslaught of permissions, it works from everywhere.

I have a left swipe open it up.

Not true. I have Nova Launcher Prime running on my Priv and can swipe from the bezel on any screen (even while I'm in an app) to access the hub etc.

Actually, you can find it on your device if you go into Settings > Swipe Shortcuts.

Nova is the best. Love being able to backup my home screens too.
Swipe up on home screen give me google now (premium feature). I will be using this on every phone now.

Been using only the BlackBerry launcher. The swipe gestures on the Nova launcher looks interesting but still no way near bb10, I am going to wait and see if it will be introduced to PRIV.
