I know, but some people said in previous messages that they were using yandex.
So I dunno if this issue is common to all BB10 devices.
And after testing in a pc, yandex seems good alternative to chrome because has the same engine.

I agree about FF ( gecko engine) and flavours of FF, it is safest, neutral, standard, opensource and has many addons.

Yandex and Habit Browser could be ones you're looking for

I've tried a few browsers the last couple of days, including chrome (all versions), Firefox, Yandex, Opera, Naked, and I can't remember what else. I've used chrome for years.

The smoothest one with the most features is Opera beta.

The smoothest one period is Yandex.

    The most features is Firefox.

The one that uses the most memory is Chrome.

So I decided to use Opera for awhile.

I must not be picky enough.

What drives my needs in a browser are that I can open a local html file found both in Internal Memory and on the sd-card. I've got a formatted html file which has links to my favorite or most visited sites. For some reason a number of Browsers can't access local files especially if on the sd-card. The format for the url is

file:///D:/Priv/Backup%2005-29-16/SD-card/Android/Documents/BlackBerry(1).html (this is not the link on my priv but similar works in Firefox on the Priv and on my bb10 devices before this)

Here's what it looks like - just the partial page.

    Opera will open local files.

And you can use opera's speed dial for local files, too.

Opera is being sold to the Chinese. Time to abandon ship to another browser?

Mostly Firefox with adblock when browsing for a longer period of time. It's nice being able to read articles without ads and accidental clicking on them.

Chrome for quick searches because it works faster than firefox.

I've used lightning for a short period of time and I can't remember why I don't anymore, but it was pretty ok. It's also open source and the paid version has an ad blocker.

Where did u download chromium? I really would like to try it.
Btw yandex is also a chromium with compatibility with opera addons, but I cannot install it in my Classic

Chromium for Android built up from the binaries because it is what Chrome and Opera are built on anyway. Also love Brave.

That doesn't make sense. Opera was never a North American company.

People talking about Chinese, Russian, asking for American apps... so all of you fully trust guys like FB or Google, right?

And, yes, Opera never was American.

one good thing about Polarity is, you get both reader mode and text reflow. Most browsers offer one or the other.
