    OK, what's the gimmick I missed....

    I have it turned on in the debugging screens, but I can't see it from my PC. The device shows up as a media device, and the debugging icon comes up on the Priv, but "adb devices" doesn't show it.

    I'm trying to run down a wakelock problem with an application and it's kinda hard to do when you can't get the state of the device off the debugging interface!
