RAM is supposed to be full. Google how Android RAM management works and you'll see.
Your problem is probably a misbehaving app.

I've read that but thought there might be some other ways
How to fix misbehaving apps ?

Force stopping to fix the rogue app. It may not do it all the time, could just be a one time issue. Its not really a pain to just check.

An app that has hidden backend instructions that are told to start a given task won't simply cease those instructions simply because all tasks were terminated. They all reboot and cycle again, start afresh

Until it's told it cannot by denying permissions thus stopping the tied programs.

A app/task manager can show currently running apps, power consumption per and the run times.

Identify the heavy load and persistent apps (always active or those that restart after being ended) which consume a lot of power and turn off whichever function you think is burdening the mobile.

High power in short times will usually cause increase in heat levels.

There are threads about optimizing battery consumption.
    Turn off screen animations.
    Location services eat battery also.
FB is notorious - I actually use the mobile site in a browser.
    Etc.

I have fb installed but don't use it that much
And screen animation is set to .5x

There are other tricks, too. I believe that FB is a hog ALL the time - I seem to recall reading that it CONSTANTLY pings the server. So, it's actually using a BUNCH more than you think.

Also, run your "Check Battery Level" app - it gives you information on what's using battery.

On the screen settings, turn off "adaptive brightness" and then manually select a screen brightness that works for you. Oddly enough, running the screen full bright is more efficient than having it adapt as you go.
