I have some apps that I rarely use (but I need), that eat up a lot of battery after closing them normally. I need to Force Close those apps, I know I can do this by going to "Pref-Apps-Appname-Force Close" but is there a way I can do this in the BlackBerry-Taskswitcher /Launcher, like longpress on closing 'X' or something like that.
That could also prevent some apps still asking for locations... even if one doesn't want a to at that moment, so is a security feature (hint to BlackBerry).

I have used Task Manager by ByteHamster to close apps. When run you can Press/Hold on an open app and hit Settings you can ForceClose it. If you merely tap a name it will offer to kill it but sometimes that is less long lasting.

That's how android works. Even if you close some apps they will come back
