Sent to guy in southwest who had video... item returned after two attempts changing USB and then whatever that controller is USB cable is soldered to just above obtained from functioning ebay donor motherboard... failed after a few weeks again... partial (small) refund offered... bummer lost about one benjamin...GF current user is sad... should I try again elsewhere? Device otherwise is good but hot as a firecracker... charges on Sammy QI fine...

Actually I like the priv and am not ready to discard it... I decided to try a k1 and see if the PKB experience recapitulates the passport experience to some extent... now that my priv is ailing and lives on the QI charger, I have to a great extent resumed use of my passport that gives a real feeling of glee typing much faster and with greater accuracy than is possible on priv... it looks like the horrible failures of BlackBerry to SELL their devices have queered the eventuality of a PKB from any other maker... bummer
