Sounds like your device hasn't been updated yet. Go into Google Play Store, under My Apps, go to the All tab and scroll through the list of pre-installed apps installed on your device, you'll likely find many apps have updates waiting to be installed. You need to manually install the updates so that Google Play Store becomes aware the apps are actually installed. Once you've completed the updates, future updates will get pushed to your device automatically. This is a common problem with all Android devices, not just the BlackBerry Priv.
I had the same problem when I first started using the device, but once I completed the updates, Facebook and LinkedIn appeared in the Hub.
After that though, make sure you've downloaded Facebook/LinkedIn from the Google Play store and login. From there you'll get a notification in your tray indicating the account has been added to the Hub.
Does anybody know if there is a manual way to do this? When I downloaded Twitter, I got a notification prompting me to add it to the Hub, but when I downloaded and logged into Facebook I didn't get the same notification. I've checked under the My Apps section of the Google Play Store and all my apps are up to date.
Search for BlackBerry Hub in the Play store and check that way...I'll bet you'll see the update then...
I typed in BlackBerry in the Play Store and had quite a few BB apps that needed to be updated.
