    Man, that's old. Prime Day?

They've been testing this out for a while.

This will literally be the most important phone ever released by Blackberry. The future of them making handsets depends on this device. It better not come out medium-well!

It looks like a Samsung phone. Noticed the physical home button below the screen.

Makes no difference. They've been developing the Android hub and the rest of the experience suite long before the slider was manufactured. A good thing, no doubt.

No, but you can see the HUB icon on that particular screen.

Here's what I'm thinking how the hub will work. With android typically when you hold down the home button icon, you get the Google search icon show up. From the picture that someone posted you see three icons. Blackberry search, Google search and hub. So in order to access the hub, you'd hold down the home button, click on the hub app, and you'd be taken to the hub.

    I'm just speculating.

That's the closest thing to a hub in a stock Android. Clicking the Hub app just like the message icon from a legacy device.

Which is probably the closest we'll get to "peek and flow." For now, at least.

I heard they were going to implement a swipe gesture to access the HUB on the left, just like in BlackBerry 10.

I've seen people do a bunch of crazy crap with android. I know Nova Launcher allows swipe gestures from the home screen so I'm sure blackberry can implement something that would allow you to access the hub from any screen. But I don't know nothing.

Other that the non-functioning prototype devices displayed for a few seconds back in March, there has been no evidence that the BlackBerry Venice Slider will be running any OS other than Android, just speculation based on wishful thinking.

Those three buttons look exactly like the "navigation ring" targets in Cyanogenmod. You swipe up from the (virtual) home button in any of three directions, to which you can sign functions. So if what we see in the picture works the same way, a diagonal swipe from home to the right opens the "hub", or unified message inbox. Similar to up and right in BB10, but of course there's no peeking.
